2005 Schedule

The 2005 schedule is posted at http://www.vinecutter.com/schedule.htm

Our next meeting is Sunday, January 30 at Crestwood. For hearty souls, someone will be there rain or shine, sleet or snow. We want to finish up the work we began in Crestwood in November.

We have some special days on the schedule:

Professional Arborist, Academic & Research Day
April 3, 2005
The Bronx River Conservancy would like to get the pros involved, especially researchers. We are a perfect source for academic professionals who need volunteer helpers to study the Asiatic Bittersweet infestations. Please contact us at info@vinecutter.com if you are a professional and want to attend or have ideas for this day.

Government Outreach Day
To Be Announced
We are Westchester County Parks Department Volunteers. This day is for them and all the other village, city, county and state officials who have recruited us and who make our work possible. Thanks Bob Del Torto and Jeff Main!

Pitch In For Parks
April 24, 2005
This is the traditional end of our season and a chance to recruit volunteers for next fall.

We are The Bronx River Conservancy, a membership organization formed in 1997 that has quietly done a great deal to protect and improve The Bronx River Parkway Reservation "The Central Park of Westchester County."

Yes, we encourage - need - donations.
Please send tax deductable donations to:
